Ian Kuzmichev is a composer, sound designer, and sound engineer who creates sound that becomes part of the story.
Graduated from GITIS with honors, 2015. Over more than 15 years of professional career, he has delivered upwards of 100 projects — from chamber performances to large-scale multimedia shows.
Has collaborated with leading theatres in Russia and abroad: Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, Meyerhold Centre, Theatre of Nations, Sovremennik, Pushkin Theatre, RAMT, National Theatre of Budapest, as well as drama theatres in Saratov, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk, Tver, Kazan, Makhachkala, Almaty, and other cities.
Has worked on corporate and exhibition projects for Van Cleef & Arpels, Porsche, Panasonic, VDNKh, and Zotov Centre.
Creates original music and immersive soundscapes that enhance dramaturgy and immerse the audience in the atmosphere of a performance. Works at the intersection of tradition and innovation: from live orchestras to AI composition, from analog synthesizers to full sound automation via OSC/MIDI protocols.
One of the pioneers of theatrical automation in Russia: develops and implements fully automated sound control systems for performances, synchronized with lighting, video, and stage machinery.
